Volunteer Requirements
MANDATORY STEPS TO BECOME A USA HOCKEY VOLUNTEER
Individuals interested in volunteering (TEAM MANAGER, SCHEDULER, LOCKER ROOM MONITOR) are required to complete the following requirements before the season begins:
- Register with USA Hockey as a Volunteer: https://membership.usahockey.com
- Complete the required Background Screening (every two years): https://usahockey.com/backgroundscreen
- Complete the required SafeSport Training (annually): https://usahockey.com/safesporttraining
- Please note that you cannot renew your SafeSport certificate until the previous season's certificate has expired.
ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY USA HOCKEY AND NYSAHA.
